Content Management System (CMS)Handle submissions
Assign a submission owner
Give each request a responsible teammate and find unassigned work.
A submission's Owner is the person responsible for following it up. This assignment is different from the organization's Owner system role, and it does not grant the teammate CMS permissions.
Assign or change the owner
- Open the request and find Owner in its handling details.
- Search the owner selector and choose the intended person from the eligible list.
- Wait for the update confirmation, then check that Owner shows the correct teammate. Changes save when you select the person.
- To hand the request to someone else, choose the new person. Use Clear owner only when the request should become unassigned.
Agree on the handoff with the teammate and make sure they have the appropriate CMS Inbox access for this site. Assigning an owner does not send a reply to the visitor or change the request's status.
On the Submissions list, use the Owner filter to review a person's requests or select Unassigned to find requests that still need someone to handle them.
