Edit page content

Update page details and sections, then save a draft for each language you use.

Use the page workspace to change a page's title, path, and sections. A saved draft is separate from the version visitors currently see.

Update a page

  1. Select the intended site, open CMS → Content → Pages, and open the page you want to change.
  2. On the Content tab, select Edit. If another person is editing the page, follow the message shown before making changes.
  3. Update the page details and edit the existing sections. Use Add section to choose another section type when the page supports it. Fill any required fields highlighted by the editor, and arrange sections in the order visitors should see them.
  4. Select Save draft. Check that the page shows your saved changes before leaving. If you choose Discard, the unsaved edits are lost.

The sections available to you depend on the page model and the site's template. A page that draws its main content from a collection may link you to that collection; edit the source record there rather than expecting all content to live in page sections.

Review each language

Use the page workspace's content-language selector to review every language enabled for the site. New site-owned content is prepared for those languages, but your team still needs to write and review the text in each one. Saving an edit in one language does not update the others. Save your work before changing language; the App asks you to confirm if switching would discard unsaved edits.

When the draft is ready, preview and publish the page. Publishing is a separate action from saving.
