Configure the product catalog
Review product fields, choose public filters and sorting, then publish catalog settings.
The Products workspace also controls how visitors browse a product catalog. These settings are separate from a product's own draft or published status. Coordinate catalog-display changes with the person responsible for the site's design and product data.
Review fields and catalog choices
- Select the CMS site, open CMS → Content → Products, and inspect Fields. These definitions describe extra product information and may provide eligible filter or sort values.
- Open Catalog settings. Review Public filters, Sort choices, the default sort, and the number of products per page. The choices available depend on the site's catalog configuration.
- Select Edit if you have access and need to change the visitor-facing choices. Turn filters or sorts on or off, arrange their order, and review their public labels.
- Select Save draft, then use Preview to inspect the product list page. Select Publish catalog when the saved setup is ready for visitors.
Saving catalog settings does not publish them. Publishing a product does not publish a changed catalog configuration either. Check both the product's status and the catalog's published settings when a product or filter is missing from the public site.
