Content Management System (CMS)Manage structured content
Manage site policies
Maintain privacy, terms, cookie, and other policy content for a CMS site.
Policies holds the legal and policy text for the selected site. A policy has a type, effective date, title, path, and body. Have the person responsible for the policy approve its wording and effective date before publishing.
Create or update a policy
- Select the site, then open CMS → Content → Policies. Open an existing policy to revise it, or select Create policy if you need a new one.
- Choose a Policy type such as privacy, terms, cookie, or other. Enter the Effective date, Title, Path, and Policy content. The public path begins with
/policies/; choose a meaningful path that is valid for this site. - Create the policy or select Save draft after editing. Review the content in every enabled language and check its SEO details when applicable.
- Publish the saved draft when its wording has been approved. Check the public policy page and any footer or other links that should lead to it.
Saving a draft does not change the policy currently shown to visitors. Use Publish & Rollback to review published versions and earlier history before making a later version public. If the policy is linked from the site footer, check that destination after publication.
