Manage products

Products stores structured catalog records for the selected CMS site. A product has its own content, slug, media, tags, and SEO details. It is separate from a site page: your site needs an appropriate product page or section to display it publicly.

Create a product

1. Select the CMS site, then open CMS → Content → Products.
2. On All products, select Create product. Enter a Name, a URL-safe Slug, and a full description. The slug uses lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens; you can use Generate from name as a starting point.
3. Add a short summary, product type, tags, or product collections when they apply. Use the Media tab to choose existing CMS images or documents, and review SEO for search and sharing text.
4. Create the product, then reopen it to check the saved record. It starts as a draft. Select Publish only after its content and assets are ready.

The product workspace has Content, SEO, Media, and Tags tabs. Edit each relevant tab and review the record in every enabled content language. A later edit in one language does not automatically translate the others. Check your public product page after publishing; whether and where the product appears also depends on the site's catalog setup.

Archiving a product removes it from public catalog results while keeping it available to editors. Review product-collection membership and public links before archiving.
