Organization setup checklist

Review your organization's subscription, prepare billing, and invite your team in Industrix.

Use this checklist after you can sign in as the organization owner. Work through the steps in order and skip anything your organization has already completed.

If you have just received your owner email, start with Your first invitation email.

1. Open My Platform for your organization

  1. Open the sign-in page and sign in with your owner account.
  2. If you are asked to choose an organization, select the organization you want to set up.
  3. Open My Platform from the platform selection screen. This is where you manage your organization's subscriptions, billing, and users.
  4. Confirm that you are working in the intended organization before continuing.

If you need help selecting an organization, follow Sign in and choose an organization.

2. Check your subscription

Subscriptions are set up by Industrix administrators. Your task is to check that the subscription shown on My Platform matches what was agreed for your organization.

  1. Open Subscriptions on My Platform.
  2. Select a subscription to view its details.
  3. Check the plan name, status, and billing period against your agreed service.
  4. If a subscription is missing or its details look incorrect, contact your Industrix administrator to confirm or correct the setup.

Your subscription determines the features available to the organization. A member's permissions determine what they can do within those features.

A user license is a person's entitlement to a feature when individual licensing applies. The current subscriptions do not require individual user licenses, so license assignment is not a step in this checklist. See Understand your access for how these concepts differ.

3. Choose roles and prepare access-level profiles

Use Choose roles and access levels to decide what each teammate needs. Then set up access-level profiles for recurring responsibilities such as Content editor, Content reviewer, or Finance. Preparing these reusable custom roles now makes invitations easier.

Use the User system role with an appropriate profile for most members. Reserve Admin for a person the Owner deeply trusts with broad control, when that control is necessary.

4. Invite your team

Follow Invite your team to apply profiles, send invitations, and confirm people can perform their work. Invite anyone who should later become a billing contact: the contact picker only offers existing organization users. A finance colleague who will pay bills also needs the appropriate billing permissions.

5. Set up billing and check payments

Follow Set up billing to add active billing contacts, review bills, choose a payment method, provide transfer proof when required, and confirm the final bill status. If a bill is already due, you can review and pay it before inviting the team; add colleagues as billing contacts after they become organization users.
