Understand your site template
Learn how your site's custom template shapes its design, content, and supported languages.
Each CMS site is based on a custom template created by the Industrix team for that site. The template defines how CMS content appears on your public website, including page layouts, sections, and the way content is displayed.
What the template controls
- Design and layout: how pages and sections look and fit together.
- Content structure: which types of content the website uses and where they appear.
- Supported languages: which languages the website can display correctly.
The CMS lets your team manage the content used by the template. Changing content in an existing field does not redesign the template or add a new layout. Creating a CMS page does not automatically create a new design for it; page creation is typically handled by the Industrix team as part of the site's design.
Before requesting a change
For a new layout, section, content structure, or language, ask your organization administrator to contact support. If you are the organization administrator, contact us directly with your organization and site names and the change you need. The Industrix team will check what the current template supports and coordinate any required template changes.
Do not enable a language simply because it appears in the CMS language list. Follow Set up site languages to review the configuration and request a supported change.
For routine content updates within the existing design, follow Create site content.
