Configure CMS notifications
Choose who receives site events and review notification delivery.
Notifications lets a site manager choose recipients for CMS events. A resolved recipient receives an email and an in-app notification; the two delivery channels are bundled rather than selected separately.
Add a recipient rule
- Select the site and open CMS → Site Settings → Notifications in App.
- Review Recipient resolution to see existing site-specific rules and the Default fallback.
- Select Add rule. Choose the Event, State, and Recipient shown in the form, then select Save rule.
- Confirm the rule appears under the intended event. Review Delivery status for the current routing and latest available delivery information.
Use Edit rule to change or disable existing site-specific recipients. The fallback lists organization-level recipients used when site-specific routing does not apply. Review the recipient resolution shown on this page rather than assuming an event will reach someone just because they have CMS access.
If you cannot add or edit rules, ask the person who manages this site's settings to check your CMS Site Settings access. Notification recipient rules do not replace a person's CMS Inbox permissions for reviewing submissions.
